They will work on an lsx based motor, that uses the four shorter studs in the corners.

Im not sure what the dish is on a stock lq4 piston to be able to give you the compression ratio

Dish on a 4 is 7-8cc IIRC

Using a piston height of 0 (ie flush with the deck) and a gasket thickness of .055", gasket bore of 4.03", I come up with a compression ratio of 9.23:1
