Post Parting out a 4.8L

I'm picking up a 2002 4.8L out of a Tahoe as a parts motor. All I'm buying it for is the rotating assembly and intake manifold. I'll be using the crankshaft and rods in another build later on, and the intake on my 5.7L truck.

So if you need parts off the 4.8L I will unbolt them throughout the week and ship as requests come in. I am off for school August 31st so if you need something ask before then and I will get everything shipped out before I leave. Any requests for parts after the 31st will make special arrangements between home visits, PM for details.

It's a 2002 4.8L from a Tahoe, automatic, 4wd. Ask for parts that I might not have listed and I will reply back shortly with a price quote if they are available, all prices will be listed as shipped.

Block and main caps Sold.

Bringing this thread back to life now that the whole motor is in pieces.

From top to bottom I guess:
Wiring harness, in good shape......$140 shipped
Stock 4.8L fuel rails and injectors..$40 shipped
Valve covers (both LH and RH).....$40 shipped
Roller rockers all in great shape....$40 shipped
Stock pushrods, all straight.........$30 shipped
Stock (pair) 852 casting heads....$150 shipped
Stock (pair) 706 casting heads....$150 shipped
Stock (pair) 4.8/5.3 exhaust manifolds w/o EGR..$60 shipped(heavy for size)
Stock water pump with pulley......$50 shipped
Stock truck 6qt oil pan, windage tray and pickup tube $100 shipped

Prices are pretty set in stone, I have not had time yet to dig through the wiring harness to ensure 100% completeness as I have found out before sometimes the junkyard I get my motors from cut wires off and hide the ends inside the wire loom. If you're interested in the harness let me know and I'll have 2 sets of eyes look it over, myself and hirdlej on this site. (hope ya don't mind Joe )

I might be interested, but am in brooklyn park mn, so what price if I pick it up? Would this be pretty much the same harness for a 5.3 including for the injectors?

thanks

I've shipped out 2 harness now and both are about $15-20 bucks depending on what part of the country, so if $120 sounds good to ya then PM me and we'll set up a weekend you can stop by. From my understanding, within year ranges all the harness are the same, whether that be 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L. It's the year that changes the harness.

The 706 heads I'm unsure of, I got those through a trade. They look very good, I was going to have them milled but went with 241's instead for my 5.7L.

The 852's I took off the 4.8L with 100k miles.
