that motor is too wierd, i would avoid it. get something that runs, i got a 50k 6.0 for 1100 with a 3 month gaurente at a local junk yard and it came with alot of extra stuff that i sold off.

Its more than 30 hp.....I am pretty sure GM under rated those motors. I felt a real big gain from my 5.3 to the 6.0. And you have to remember that its not the HP you want, its the TQ! that is what gets these trucks movin!

Without torque there is no horsepower. You need torque and rpm to get horsepower.

The wieght the guy shows sounds about right at 800#'s. Can't be to much missing inside if it's that much. I know that 6.0 longblock I had was right at 400lbs. I have it all broken down at home with what wieghs what.




Horsepower is a measurement of torque.
