Are you 100% sure it is a 2001 model?

I saw the auction. The pictures showed a the motor was wearing a set of 1998 perimiter bolt cylinder heads. No truck motors were ever produced with that head configuration. Thats usually a sign that the motor is a 2000 model or older that came with iron heads. If so, it will only work with a 4L80 transmission bacause of the longer crank those models came with.
