Block and heads had 93k miles when removed. Pulled the motor due to a lifted ringland. (Wasn't sprayed either)
Once piston was removed, there was some cylinder damage seen. It is definitely able to be removed by just honing. You can barely and I mean barely feel what damage was done.
Basically all this block needs is one new piston and honed. If the damage was any worse I would recommend a new cylinder sleeve, but honestly between me and several mechanics, we just don't see there being the need of a sleeve.
Asking 500 bucks for block. (put probably 150 bucks into this thing and you have a great L76 block)
The heads are L92 heads. The heads do have some damage from the piston. The heads can easily be milled down safely .010 to .015 safely and this would remove almost all the damage done. Good thing is that the damage was done nowhere near the intake/exhaust, so milling them down a little will fix these right up.
Asking 150 for heads. (got a quote to mill these things down @ 80 bucks,)
Will sell block and heads for 600 bucks. (buyer pays shipping)
After the damage was done to this motor I just went ahead and bought a 6.2 longblock from GONEB4U and have no need for the engine. PM me for pictures or preferably email nscsrf@gmail.com
