I don't know if it's got the aluminum heads or not...need to check with him and get all the details before you bid. I'd hate for somebody to get a 6L with the iron heads. Those are the same pics from another 6L auction he had.

Guys, I am the proud owner of the first one they sold on Ebay. The engine showed up just like it is in the pictures. It does have aluminum heads and the crank is the newer style for the 4L60E trans. I don't have it in the truck yet but I hope to have it up and running either this week or the next. They shipped it the same day that I payed and only charged me 127.23 to ship from Oklahoma to Georgia to my door. I have no complaints with the purchase.

You got a good deal. Another guy was selling new 00-03 6.0l's for around $2600 with buy it now. Aluminum heads are a plus. I was curious about the crank. Doesn't really matter since I'll have a 4l80e behind it.

All I'm saying is email the guy to make sure of what you are bidding on. Just because he sold one 2001+ 6L doesn't mean the next one will be. It doesn't specify anywhere in the auction which year 6L it is.

if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? I'm starting to look at prices for the 6.0 and want to know where i can get good deals at.

I paid $1600.00 which is their reserve price and they shipped it for $127.32.

I know Jon Barrett. He builds really good stuff. We are talking about a putting out a line of Jon Barrett ported 5.3, 5.7, and 6.0 heads.
