I have 8K HIDs in my '02 2500HD. Have one headlight that I have had to repair the back side of it b/c somehow it cracked. My question is are there any projection style headlights out there that I can still use the longer HID bulbs in? I have 8K HIDs in my wifes Denali in the factory projection style housings and they work great. Would like to do the same to my truck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

gmc or chevy?
if it's a gmc, you can use denali headlights
if it's a chevy, i've seen some aftermarket projector housings

 

Sorry...it is a Chevy, otherwise I would have already gotten the Denali housings since I know they work. I have seen some projection style housings, but am not sure if the will fit the longer 9005/9006 style HID bulb. I dont want to have to buy new HIDs. Want to just bolt them on.

they make a projector for the 99-02 chevys dunno about the 03-07 classics

 

Mine is an '02. Any clue what brand? Just want to make sure that I can use the 9005/9006 style bulb and that the longer HID will fit. Tired of "fixing" my cracked one.

 

My nephew got from ProStreeLighting. They fit to the exact.
