Got a 2008 genIV 5.3l I built for my Tahoe, but now I'm thinking of building a twin setup with a ls3 block... I'm located in El Paso Texas and shipping is not a problem to a business with a dock. Now for the motor! GenIV block cleaned and hot tanked, cylinders honed, standard 58x crank with new sealed power/federal main bearings, factory rods and Pistons cleaned spotless and rings gapped, rods resized for arp rod bolts with new sealed power rod bearings, speed pro head studs, 317 heads, that I had milled 15thou, with BTR dual springs and titanium retainers, 220/220 .581 .581 112lsa cam, new cam bearings, comp 7.4 magnum pushrods, factory high volume oil pump, CR is right at 9.5:1 perfect for a street driven vehicle, I think that's it... How much boost will they take normally?

 

I was gonna put 15-16lbs to it.. Shouldn't have any problems at that level of boost. I'm sure it could take more with a good tune!
