Yeah if you can buy them for $100.00 then go for it. That will be the best $100.00 you will ever spend. A stall converter is the best bang for the buck hands down.

I have more than $130.00 in this one. They were over $300.00 form the dealer (with tax)when I was looking. Maybe they are cheaper now, but I would be surprised if that were true.

Three of my friends have bought them within the last 6 months and all paid 130 at Guage Chevrolet in Grand Haven, MI. Not to knock you but that guy is correct.

Mine isn't exactly a stock TB converter, but the value of it should be comparable. It's been tweaked a bit to raise the stall and small enhancements. I think I'll just hold on to it then.

FWIW- The Circle D converter @ $350.00 is a good buy IMO.

There are several ways to get a higher stall in a stock sized converter. Some ways are better than others. Do your homework and you'll know what I'm talking about.

At $130.00 the TB is still a real good deal and I highly recommend it, but if you are planning on additional modding and low ET is the goal, spend the extra $$$ for a better converter. I've been there and done that many times over.

Good luck guys!

I'll keep my converter.lol.
