I'm in the process of puttting together a 5.3 swap for my 98 Tahoe and AC is one of my big hang ups. Will this bracket allow me to retain the Tahoe's stock AC compressor and lines with that swap?

What you are dealing with is exactly why I bought this; I went out and bought another compressor and mounting kit. I was going to have to get lines fabricated, and that just wasn't in the budget. This allows you to use the stock AC pump and lines, so you aren't having to fab stuff up.
