Where were the knock sensors on the motor, in the valley cover or down low? Cam sensor in the front cover or in the back? Thanks

Knock sensors were on the side.

Cam sensor, I honestly don't remember. I'll try to find out.

edit: I've been told by a couple of knowledgeable people that the cam sensor is in the front but there's enough wire to reach the back if need be.

If the knock sensors are on the side it came from a newer truck... Like 07+....

from 03-mid 07 (07 classic) the knock sensors were under the intake.

Moze if you run across a 99-02 harness from a truck or car please let me know. I also need a 0411 PCM

Well now I'm confused. I removed the harness and I know I pulled them off the side because I didn't pull the intake manifold.

10-4 on the OBS harness, Danny.

You could have undone the clip on the side of the intake... You dont have to pull the intake to take off the harness.

You may be right on the clips. I sent a message to the guy that bought it - I'll try ot get an answer from him.

Still have this.

Confirmed that the knock sensors were indeed on the side as I thought.
