Default Dry Nitrous Kit for sale

Here is a list of everything that I have. Nitrous Express NX bottle with the high flow valve. Compucar solenoid (the large solenoid capable of flowing enough for a 200 shot), NOS fogger (fan) nozzle with mounting bung, 15ft feed line from bottle to engine compartment, 18" feed line from solenoid to fogger nozzle, arming toggle switch, bottle mounting rings, and a custom (wood) mounting plate that you could screw to a 2x4 and slip into the slots in your bed or bedliner. I installed this kit in my truck without drilling any holes at all in the bed. I fed the supply line thru the slots into the stake pokets and then under the bed. As for an activation switch, I have a Hurst transbrake button on a coiled cord that I use and it works great. There is a Jeg's bottle pressure gauge and gauge mount on the bottle as well. I also have jets to make different size "shots" from a 30hp all the way to a little over 100rwhp. I have the chart that shows what jet is needed for what power level. I have pics available if you send me your email address. I'll let everything go for $400 shipped. Locals will get a full bottle, but I don't think its legal to ship full. The switch alone cost $50, and the liquid filled gauge and gauge manifold (mounting fitting) were another $50. Some Pics can be seen here:

for shipping purposes you will need to supply your own 2x4 to mount the bracket and mounting plate to, but you will be able to screw the mounting plate right to the 2x4.

$400 shipped

The bottle is like brand new, it's never been "torch heated", and the paint on it is real nice. Everything else is in simillar condition. There is a link in the first post to some pics I posted before on LS1tech, or anyone who PM's me their email address I can send over some other pics. The difference between a wet kit and a dry kit is: a dry kit only has a nitrous solenoid and rely's on the maf sensor to read the nitrous and add the propper amount of fuel accordingly, whereas a wet kit has a nitrous and a fuel solenoid and mounts "after" the maf sensor in the intake track. There are pro's and con's to both systems. If I were you and really interested in nitrous I would go to the nitrous section of this site and do a search on wet vs. dry and see what the general concensus is. "They" say a dry shot is safe on these trucks up to about 150hp shot, and I chose it over a wet shot because of several reasons. I know people around here have had equal luck with both wet and dry. The thing I like about a dry shot on my "daily driver" is in the event of a fuel solenoid failing, a wet shot will tear up your motor, whereas a dry shot doesn't use a fuel solenoid, and if you do have solenoid failure, the truck continues running as normal. Also, with a dry shot, as the bottle runs empty, or bottle pressure drops, you don't suffer from a rich condition mid-run, it just runs empty and the truck goes back to running like normal. I had good luck with this system, going from a best on motor of 14.57 to a best on nitrous of 13.43. Traction can become a problem on nitrous, and thats' the main reason I didn't hook it up with a throttle activated switch. I wanted to make sure the truck was "hooked" before spraying. I sprayed it out of the hole a few times and (with this converter) all it did was blow the tires off of it BIG TIME.

Oh, if you click on the link to the earlier post I made when I first installed the kit, scroll down to my second post in that thread and there a few other pics. I mounted the solenoid (as seen in pics) under the fender support brace. I only had to drill one hole in it as there was already 1 hole in it. That was the only hole I drilled in the whole install, as I didn't want to hack up my truck bed. With the hood up no one even notices the solenoid unless they trace the braided line running into the air filter and see where it goes. I could have mounted the nozzle in the end of the filter and you would have never even known it was on there, but I wanted to experiment with jet sizes and wanted it easy to get to. The jets go right into the line at the air filter, and it is very easy to change HP levels.

thanks for the details, I'd like to see the condition of the pcs as they sit now.
I did check out the install pics, very nice.

Are you going with a different set-up?

I'm going to leave my truck in the 14.5x state that it is in without the nitrous and the 6.0 motor. I sold the motor to DEWMANSHU, and now I'm getting rid of the nitrous. I had originally planned on a Silverado SS, but the deal just couldn't work itself out. I'm thinking about a '02 Z06 now. I feel like Illnali right now....I don't know which way I want to go (no offense intended). I'm very leary of making any kind of power with the 4L60E, and a cammed 6.0L on nitrous fell into that category. I was afraid of going "too far" with the truck, and needing to get a beater car to drive daily. I like the truck waaayyy too much to "NOT" drive it everyday. I sent some pics.
