Default complete 6.0

What is a good price for a complete 6.0l from GM. I think I might have found a few of them, I don't know all of the details yet (cast or aluminum heads, etc.). I do know they are new complete left overs from GM.

I read the post last night about the the blocks but this is for the whole engine from the TB to the oil pan. I am going to try to find time today to see if they are lq4, lq9, or both.

I'm interested too! I see them selling like hotcakes on ebay brand new for $2600. What crank do these have in them? I'm looking for one that will bolt up to a 4l80e.

I think the deal I found may not be that great. Engines would probably be in the 4400.00 range, with a one year warranty. I haven't had time yet to do the research but I am working on it.

Keep at it. Maybe they are the LQ9's that are rather scarce. Still, $4400 seems high, IMO.

Or maybe all the $$$ is in the warranty. The dealers really like to push that GM Protection plan.

I haven't been able to reach the guy who has the engines. As I see it, they are too high in price anyway. Thanks for the replies and I will continue to try to stumble across a good deal.
