Default Comp 212/218 cam f/s

Comp Cam 212/218 .553/.561 114LSA+4 very low miles on it.

Im told this cam will scream in a 4.8/5.3 and 6.0 probably. With a 3000+ hi stall converter and this cam i would guess you could expect a .8 - 1.0 second off you 1/4 time.

$200 shipped!

I bought this cam off this board less than a month ago and i just bought a 383 stroker motor and this cam is too small for my new motor so its for sale.
i take paypal.

Thanks

Ok, you will need Comp's 918 valve springs(or similar springs up to .600 of lift)and hardend pushrods of some sort. YOur stock retainers and keepers will work fine.

I hope so, its the cam that's in my 6.0L and the only "tuning" I have is a HPP3. When I first inquired about this cam choice some of the "smarter" cam people around here said it would be fine, although a tune would optimize the performance. Wish I had a definate answer for you, but I'm confident it will be fine, otherwise I would have never jeopardized the drivability of my truck.

badmofo is correct i believe, the cam should run fine in your truck without custom tuning, but custom tuning it will porbably give you a little bit better results. The only i would be concerned about is the idle, most ppl here drill a small hole in the TB blade to make the truck not stall out, this helps it idle. If you looking for a cam and you can't do custom tuning right now i think it would still be a great increase over stock the stock cam.

Is this cam still for sale? If so, I'll take it.
