Does that timing chain set require modification to the oil pump or anything else? If so does it come with spacers to make it work?

No, it just didn't fit with the Melling oil pump because the pump is too big. It should work with stock, LS6 or SLP oil pump.

It depends on what engine. Still a small cam for the 408 I guess mid-range...

did you have a tb for sale, might be interested.
