Default Built 4WD 4L65E for sale ZERO MILES

$1300 local**** (add freight for deliveries)
Alright, history...this is the 4L60E out of my 2000 Silverado. When I went to the 80e I also went to a new trans guy. He has a rich history in building rails/dragsters and racing but started a business working on the public's transmissions instead of racing only. He says he has been working on transmissions his whole professional career. He's a tad expensive but a good guy who knows his chit.

I asked him to rebuild it so I could sell it as a "ready" to install trans. It is out of a 4wd truck. No warranty of course, but if you live local and want Ron to install it I am SURE he'll work something out, we'll make him.

4L65E
Alto Redline Clutches
Kevlar Band
Borg Warner 29 Element Sprag
(Dual Cage)
HD Beast Sunshell
5 Pinion Planetaries
Super Hold Servo
Transgo Valve Body Kit

You are more than welcome to call the shop and ask questions from Ron.

Transmission Technology "Trans Tech"
Gaithersburg, MD 20879
PM me for contact info.
$1300 local pick up
shipping would be fedex freight. You can call them for a quote from that address listed for Trans Tech.

Blah blah blah blah buy my trans. Did I mention if you are local, he can do the install! Call him with any technical questions or give me a day to post the answer. I am no trans guy.

****Local means:
Gaithersburg, MD 20879

If it were only closer (and I had the money)
I'd buy it for a good spare! Good luck on the sale, we all know you are a stand-up guy

PURE SPECULATION, sure, 450 to 500 non-radix. I say non-radix due to the low off idle w/o the need to spool power. But there are plenty of Radix guys with 60/65's.

When it died on me in the past it was almost always a pump. Complications from a warped flywheel and bad needle bearings on the converter. The last time it died (from pump failure) my 5.3 thrust bearing went out. So that movement crushed the pump. So, honestly, I never broke it due to power.
