Brand New GM Sport Tent for sale
#1
I have a brand new GM Sport Tent for sale. It fits short bed GM trucks and is green with the bowtie logo on it. This new and never been out of the box. They go for over $175 at the dealership and E-bay + S/H. I'm selling this one for $120 shipped if anyone is interested before it goes to Ebay.
Here is the GM description:
Turn your Chevy Silverado pickup into a camper in a matter of minutes. This self-contained tent, with inner walls and a reinforced polyurethane mesh floor, fits snugly into the truck bed. With waterproof vents covering four large, meshed windows for excellent ventilation and rain protection, the tent is roomy enough to sleep two people. The light-weight unit fits into a small carrying pouch for convenient storage behind the cab seat. Approx size is 18x6x6

Not to get off subject but I just got the exact same truck but in green, how is the torsion lift? You just do keys? hows the ride now? you have a rubbing issues? I want to get that cognito leveling kit and 305/70/16 but not sure about rubbing that front lower valance I dont want to cut that piece like the cevys cause ours is painted, any suggestions? Is the tent the sporttentz I or II I was looking at the II because it had that piece off the back of the tailgate like a porch.

On the tent I am selling it for a buddy and it is new and never taken out of the box so I am not sure if it has the awning or not. I added that pic as I believe thiat is what you are talking about. I will try to find out.
NOTE: When I got the GM description it said with awning!
On the truck I added the green keys and the wheels/tires two years ago when it had 11 miles on it. The wheels have a 4.5" back spacing and I have no problems with clearance. It is lifted 2" and the ride is stiffer than stock but not as bad as when I just cranked the bars. I would say it is equal to about 4 turns on your stock bars. The front valance "hooks" back towards the tire more than the Chevys and I did remove 1" of it. Just be careful and you can not tell. My 285's are CLOSE so I would think 305's would be hard to fit with out major trimming or cranking. Wheel back spacing would be key I guess.
