Default Beck Sheetmetal Intake

It is the most amazing manifold I have ever seen. The runners a one piece and they are tapped for direct port nitrous. It looks like it is a mile tall in the pictures, it is just a little under 13 inches from the valley cover to the highest part. It was made for a TBSS but should work on a silverado as well. On a TBSS is has a little more than a half inch of clearance between the highest point of the manifold and the hood. It was built for cathedral port heads and if you have a truck with wicked heads or forced induction and you need to get all that air into the motor this is your ticket.

Here are some pics.

Today they talked me into keeping it and putting it on the truck. They said it should make 60 more horsepower than it currently does. Pretty easy decision at that point.

Sheet metal intakes can also be used to replace terrible stock truck intakes. I had it built for my 403 in my trailblazer. The motor has the best of everything and the intake is definitely the weak spot. The heads outflow the intake by a significant amount. This will fix that problem.

John Beck makes the best intakes. There are no doubts about that.

I think the length of the runner help determine rpm usage. His are pretty long which would help bring the rpm down.

Well it was meant to maximize torque and free up the upper RPM range as well. Kind of a mute point since I am going to proceed with putting it on the truck. I can get John to make you one if you want. They are not cheap, but they are amazing and worth every penny
