Any interest in my 32K mile 4.8L with Z06 cam and springs?

Default Any interest in my 32K mile 4.8L with Z06 cam and springs?

I have on the engine stand my 32K mile 4.8L that has a '01 Z06 corvette cam and valve springs installed. Truck was never driven in the winter, aluminum is clean and not pitted. It's a complete long block with no intake/sensors or accessories. $700 OBO. I am located in the Minneapolis, MN area. I would be willing to deliver to a shipping dock for pickup but I don't have any means to strap it to a pallet or put in a crate. PM me for info or let me know if you're interested. If you want me to ship, it's YOUR JOB to get a shipping quote and set everything up.

Too much money? I can work with you on it. Or is there just a lack of interest for a motor this size?

Most of us on here are prone to the 6.0. As you seem to be as well there is a better chance of you selling this. To a person building a hot rod or classic truck. There usualy looking for reliability and gas millage which this has so stick it n ebay . line says ... 4.8 LS1 300 horse corvette ZO6 cam low millage low reserve great for street rod....lol itl sell set your reserve for 600 and let the biding begin

I'd say try ebay or craigslist. Most 5.3ls sell for what your asking and the 4.8 just isn't a power house as i'm sure you know.

List it on craigslist is my best advice and be patient. I ended up just throwing my 4.8L away. I could only have it sitting in the back of my truck for so long.

I personally ended up selling my 5.3 with 50k miles for 500 bucks. i'm sure you can eventually get your asking price but it depends on how soon you want to move it.
I had to get rid of mine fairly fast as i had nowhere to keep it.

Might have better luck pulling out the cam and springs and selling them seperate, then selling the block to someone wanting to do the iron ls1 build or put the stock cam back in and sell it that way.

Yup, I agree. Its usually the best way to get the nost ammount of money. I am interested in the cam if you do this.
