Is that a 4:10 gear set in the front diff setup? How many miles on it? Why did you pull it? Thx

Was told 70 something thousand from craigslist totaled vehicle. To be honest it came on the motor I bought from a guy that also had no idea where exactly it came from. It’s off a 5.3 awd? Thought it would have been a awd Denali or Sierra but one member told me it possibly has 4.10 ratio in it. Might be 3.73? But maybe that’s the 6.0 only. I have to dig further and see or look for a rpo code. It’s just sitting either I’ll use it or sell. I can try and get some pics up but I cant load them via phone

if it came on the motor and needs an AWD specific pan, its not GMT800, its for a Trailblazer.

Well there you have it we’re answering some questions even I hadn’t known. Ok well then there you have it. it’s off a trailblazer it has the oil pan with axle through it. But I never seen the 5.3 lm4 trailblazer awd? Maybe it was 4x4 option?maybe it was from a ss? Wish I could find a code to look up

I dont know how the TB's were optioned, it could be off an Envoy Denali. Or it could be 4x4. I would need to see pics of the passenger side tube to know if it was AWD or 4x4.

But only that GMT3xx chassis had the oil pan for the front diff. GMT8/900's dont need an AWD or 4x4 specific pan. All our V8 pans clear the front diff with the rear sump. The front end might be worth something to the TB/Envoy crowd! It might be worth something to us GMT800 folks, but I dont know the mount compatibility between the two chassis, so I cant speak to its value to the full size folks.

Thanks for the info. Very informative and answered a lot of my questions. It has a little tube comic off the diff not sure maybe it’s vacuum or something. It’s a short 10-12” hose. Well maybe I’ll look on the Tb forum for more info thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Still up for sale if anyone interested! Will post in Tb forum as well. Thanks

kevin
