Default 408ci motor for sale

Local pickup is preferred, but shipping is available at YOUR EXPENSE. I do have a company that ships freight for a decent price so I could set up the transaction but shipping must be paid by the buyer!

Note: Throttle body posted in pics is not included with the motor!

Build Sheet is in the mail so I will scan it and post it up here when i recieve it.

So here is the story on the motor with a better explanation than before. My dad bought the 408ci motor off of my good friend eric a couple months back planning on putting it in his 56 bel air. Eric initially installed the motor in his truck, got it running but had a ton of wiring issues and and bad pcm. Took him months to figure out the problems, and with his busy schedule the truck just sat there for 6 months roughly. Finally he figured out the pcm and wiring issues, but by this time the economy had started to tank and Eric wanted some extra cash so he sold the motor and his truck. My dad bought the motor planning on using it in his 56 bel air. Now he has decided to sell the bel air so the motor has to go to as well. Motor has maybe 10 miles on it and is a very well built and efficient motor. The motor cost eric $9,600 when he bought it new. My dad is trying to get his money back by asking $6,500 for the motor wich is a complete steal for this motor! Here are some specs on the engine.

-Comp Cams pro magnum 1.75 rocker arms

Very very tempting. I'll come up with a decision after I pull my 5.3 on Saturday and find out how bad the damage is.

Just pull the trigger man. You know you want it. On a serious note though, you wont find a better deal around.

I know.. That's the problem. I'll let you know my decision after I pull my motor on Saturday and see how bad the damage is.
