i think it came off an 02, but im not sure, i have the block it came off of if there is a way i can tell from that

how much will it cost to ship to zip code 78253. and also does the oil pan have the hole for the dip stick, or was it on the engine. i tryed to pm you but its not allowing me to send messages because the way your membership is set up. let me know thanks.

The Front Pass side of the block has a date code cast into it.
Would say something like A 192

A= January
19 day
2 for the last diget of the year

I think any thing cast after July would be for the following model Year. So if the letter code was like G 151 That would mean it was cast in July 15 of 2001 but was for an 2002 Model vehical.

BTW what happened to the windage tray??? looks like it had some work done to it...

aight, ill go check that out and find out, the windage tray hasn't had anything done to it, probably from where i wiped it down with a shop rag cause it was getting oil on everything
