They don't make a steel block that I know of, I believe they are all cast iron or aluminum. LS2's are only aluminum. If this intake came off an 06' iron block engine, it isn't from an LS2.

It cam off of a LQ4 or LQ9 it is the same as the 4.8l/5.3l intake. The LS2 intake is totally different and has a 90mm throttle body opening and is DBW. Please edit your post.

boy you guy's are picky, steel....cast iron...it's metal ok!! The motor is an LS2, sorry to assume it's an ls2 intake. It's a freakin truck intake ok!. I said in an earlyer post that it came with a 75MM DBW TB. Anything else wrong??

It's an LQ4 motor

Well there's about a $200 price difference between the two in what I'm willing to pay. So make sure you know what you have before you post nonsense.
