a friend of mine has a 00 6.0 out of a wrecked truck, he took it apart wanting to rebuild it. well he never got around to it and i feel it's just a waste sitting there. i don't know how long it has been apart, but it's usable IF you want to build your own 6.0
looking for 450 with all the parts that came with it before he took it apart.

Does it have the truck accessories with it?

 

I really doubt it...i think it was just the block with a cracked intake, he got another intake, and took the motor apart to rebuild it. he got side tracked and started building a bagged truck instead.

i would believe it is an LQ4 it has the Steel heads.

i wont have it till he comes back from Texas, and I'll be gone to Tenn come Monday, so I wont be able to get it till we can get together to get pics.

the bottom end is not apart, it is together.
it comes with MOST ACC

 

I just bought a 03 LQ4 for $200 and my brother just bougt a 2000 iron head motor for $200. These where complete motors minus the accessories.

i wanna know where you were getting those from, because i've been looking for a 6.0 for about 2 weeks now, i've even looked ALL the way to cali and new york. AND no one has them for that price. i found one for 700.00 but it was burned, and the ONLY part on it that might have been worth saving was the block. so i feel 450.00 for a complete engine, which you want to rebuild is a steal. it's not mine, because if it was i'd keep it and throw away everything else. that's why im going to Tenn to pick up an 04 6.0 with 40k on it but it's complete and it's costing me 1400.00

so you may know someone, but i know no one with them. i've even gone to people who have Blown motors up to see if they'd know who would have one. i can find 5.3s and 4.8s all day long for cheap with low miles, but i dont want that. i already have a 5.3, now i want bigger.

i have a few guys looking at it, they are waiting on pictures.
i will keep my word and get pictures, then everyone can make a choice along with those guys.

bc the other 6.0 is going in my white truck, and it is complete except for A/C, starter, Alt.
