I have 2 6.0 engines that I do not need. One is from a 99 silverado 2500 hd. The other is from an 04 silverado hd. The 99 model runs good. It has 165k miles, and it is dirty. The 04 model does not run, it needs a rebuild. Blown head gasket, pitted the walls a little so it will need to be bored. It's god for a 370 or 408.
I can basically tear down both motors and make a complete motor that will just need a rebuild.
OPTION #1)
I can do the 99 block-04 crank- 04 pistons and rods- auminum 317 heads- all internals for the engine-all covers. Basically you will need rings, and bearings. -$600 picked up
OPTION #2)
6.0L block(needs hone or bored) -$200
Front cover, rear cover, valley cover-$50
99 crank-$50
99 iron heads-$100
99 rods and pistons-$100
Coil packs with heat sinks-$100
04 exhaust manifolds with no egr-$100
Bare 04 intake-$20

No harness or ecu. Only sensor missing is the oil pressure sensor.
