Thumbs up 1990 454 motor?

I am looking for a 1990 454 TBI motor for my truck. From what I understand, the modification will be minimal and it should drop right in, considering it is the same year and bodystyle.

its your truck and im not trying to tell you what to do at all, but IMHO you shouldnt waste your time and money on the 454 tbi motor. they are total pigs. if your looking for fairly cheap and fairly easy mods i would get a vortec head and cam setup for your truck. you can get an intake to utilize your factory throttle body even, that cuts out a lot of work.

if your set on a big block you could always get a vortec style, they are a lot stouter than the tbi's. or you could go gen lll 8.1 even
