Would this work in a 04 z71 Tahoe? And is it a direct wire up, would you need anything else to hook up.

works on 03+. It's plug and play. You would need to have it programmed with your current mileage and engine hours. I have used sotelectronics.com in the past. Was $40 for them to program it. Just shipped it out, they programmed it, and sent it back. Took about 5 days total from the time I shipped it until the time I got it back, really quick.

I know it fits 03-07 but what year is the cluster from? If im not mistaken 03-05 is different than an 06-07 ss cluster?
