Default **********HAGGLING Policy**********

Ive noticed lately that many people are posting up in threads about how expensive the price a seller is asking for a particular item. If you're interested buying the item for a cheaper price than the seller has listed then PM them to keep the bickering out of the thread unless the seller states they dont want any PMs about their item.

If you have no interest in the item and bash the seller on their price(which is against the rules) I will be handing out infractions. After 3 infractions you will be banned for one month, if the problem persist you will be permanently banned.

This is in an effort to curb the wave of PMs that is sent my way about members bashing sellers on price. If the seller is asking too much for a given item it wont sell, so with that in mind please resist the urge to bash them. Sometimes its obvious the seller doesnt know the market value of an item and if you feel so compelled then send them a PM, but the bashing of sellers needs to stop.

I am in charge of all the classified sections now, and if you have any questions about selling feel free to PM me.

Now someone buy my cam currently for sale, no comments needed about me asking too much for it

That is true, if there are other rules that should be added I can talk it over with the moderation team and we can edit the rules accordingly.

How's about making it a rule that when an item is sold, that you have to edit the first post, and mark it as sold? (In the first post) Instead of making us read through the entire thread, which usually gets off track, and finally one of the last posts list the item you're interested in as "sold".

Or how about locking the thread so some dope who skims over a post doesnt bump a two year old thread asking if the part is still available which prompts three more people to post bashing the guy for not reading.

Unfortunately the way the software is setup that would require me to lock every thread once its sold and I simply do not have the time to do that. The editing the first post deal would require the same out of me. I just dont have the time to read every thread in the classifieds. I can edit the rules to ask that people edit the first post in their thread to mark the item as sold but putting it as a concrete rule isnt going to happen. There simply isnt enough man-power to do that.
