ZO6 cam in my 5.3L ?

Default ZO6 cam in my 5.3L ?

ok well i got zo6 cam and was wantin to put it in my 5.3l in my tahoe i got the cam and springs do i need different push rods and will it run good for a little bit untill i can get it tuned

Prolly wont run at all with that large of cam.

Z06 cam aint that big.. It will probably run a lil lean but will still run till you get a tune.

Your stock pushrods are fine and you can run with out a retune just fine. Might have a little surging when it cold, but nothing you can't live with.

well i know it will run cause i put a gx5-2 in my truck and its alot bigger than that and it ran before i tuned it but just wonderin if anyone else has put one in there truck and drove it for a lil bit with no tune and a zo6 cam anit that big

ok well the cam i thought was a zo6 cam i think is just a ls1 cam does anyone have a cam that they know is a zo6 cam and can tell me the number of the back thanks

Z06 cam uses a front cam sensor in the chain cover, also there isnt a tone ring cut in a z06 cam and some of the cams have a different base circle from what im told that would mean diff length pushrods

well this cam is of like a ls6 car so it still uses the old still cam sensor but i got a cam that i know is a ls1 cam and there is 3 rows of number on the back and 1 row matches the cam that i was told is a ls6 cam thats y i think is a ls1 cam what is the specs on a ls1 cam
