i've heard people say that the stock gauge actually reads higher than an aftermarket gauge.

 

mine shows 210 on guage but logging shows 189

 

the difference between what the gauge shows and what the thermostat see's is mainly the location difference of the theromstat and sensor. not bad track results. is this a 3.73 geared truck or 4.10?

 

3.73 It hit the rev limiter in 2nd just as I crossed the traps.

I ran 16.1@95-96mph in my Z71 Ext.Cab bone stock. It took the HPP3 and K&N filter to break into the 15s.

Until I got my turbo I always ran the truck through the 1/4 in 2nd gear. If I let it go into 3rd I slowed down.

 

Nice times for a stock Z71..Were you at BMP last night.. I had the maroon RC SB silverado on DR's.. I thank you ran me on that pass..
