your thoughts on the fast 92mm intakes

I like REDsierra's idea on the juice, but I thought Tx silverado already had nitrous. Also, the tbss intake was designed with the LS2 in mind, so I don't think it will be a slouch up top. It wont be as good as the ported fast, but it's a lot more money wise.

what about the Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT?
The Pro-Flo XT LS1 EFI intake manifold is engineered with a large plenum and tapered runners to deliver maximum horsepower and broad torque band throughout the rpm range (1500-7000 rpm). Features include a 90mm throttle bore opening and 2.75" port exit height. This manifold produced 30 more horsepower over a stock LS6 manifold at 6500 rpm. Accepts Pro-Flo XT throttle body #3869/#38693 or adapter #2737 and standard LS1 throttle bodies. Compatible with LS1 Fuel Rail Kit #3629 (sold separately). Aesthetics were also a major consideration in the design, offering enthusiasts custom looks and choice of as-cast aluminum or black powder coated finish with contrast machine.

I kinda like the Vic Jr. with the edlebrock 4bbl TB like Thunder has on his truck... I think Woodhauler ran the same thing and from the video i saw a long time ago, that thing really moved out!

I think the Edelbrock just became or will become available shortly, but nobody has done any testing with it yet. I'm sure Richard and WCCH will have some real test results for us real soon though. If I had a street rod with an LS engine I'd probably run this intake since it looks like a tunnel ram, but for our trucks we need to see how it PERFORMS
