yet another gear question

yet another gear question
is 4.56 to much of a jump from stock 3.73s? i currently run stock 31 inch tall tires.
some have said that 4.30 would be more like it. I cant find 4.30s anywhere.
i used on online calculator and my stock rpms now @ 70 are almost 2000. if i get 4.56 they will be 2500. what do you guys think. (I also tow alot. The higher gear should help then right?)
