Default yank stall

In my sig is my current mods, with dynatech LT's and ORY soon. I am going to buy a converter and soervo kit. The truck is a crew cab Z71. I have a
216 220 .560 .560 114lsa cam. I have been reading yanks website and i was reading on the truck thruster 2600 stall . its talks about being able to tow and all that. I tow a lil bit every now and then, and i would kinna like to have a lil higher stall, something like a 3000. What do you all reccomend in my sisuation?. Remember this is a heavy *** truck....also this is a 4l60E right?...not a 65

i had a yank TT3000 and it towed just fine. make sure you get a tune done after the TC install. also, tranny cooler since things can heat up in there

yep just roll with the TT3000 it's just the big brother to the 2600 and still tows like factory for the most part.
Also your tranny can be called a 60 or a 65 they both use the same converter.

no it won't. get a bigger cooler, at least 24,000 GVW or whatever the rating is. i have a 28,000 i believe, and you can get all the way up to a 40,000 GVW.

oh and definitely go with the TT3000.

Depending on how much you actually race, a factory cooler is fine. Performabuilt sends a 22k cooler with their transmission, which is the same as a the factory one.

As far as towing, the TT series from Yank are larger converters so they do no produce the same heat as the SST series.

For those of you who have towed with the TT3000, is it fairly close to towing like stock? or does the converter tend to stall out? I'm putting a trailblazer converter in the truck for the time being, but want a nice converter this summer.

The Yank 3000 drives like stock untl you get to 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, then brakes free to the stall point. With light loads and small trailers I never could tell there was a stall at all. Compared to the TB stall I used to have, the 3000 is a lot more fun with no trade off.

If you are wanting the 2600 get the yank TT3000,trust me you will wish you did if you don't
You will still be able to tow with that converter
Jake,to answer your question yes the TT3000 works fine when towing,it is a good converter
you just need a bigger tranny cooler of course.
