Default yank or off brand?

i see that most of they guys with a stall are runnin a yank converter. I was wondering if a tci was any good? or any other cheaper brand for that matter? I like to stick with whats seems to work with everyone else, but im just curious.

Well, I can't say anything about the others because I've only used yank, but I can say that I have been very pleased with my yank converter in my Z28 and I'd buy another one for sure. My yank 4L60E has worked out nicely, too.

I've used a TCI SSF 3500 and a Yank TT 3000 there's no comparison the Yank wins hands down.I won't go into details but I got bad converters two times in a row from TCI.It's possible that you could have better luck with TCI than I did,but the Yank is so well tuned in to our truck's powertrain combo that it's not worth taking a chance on something else.

I am sticking with what is proven in our trucks.

Why Risk It?
Just Yank It!

bigguy ... I should be ordering my cam next week. Maybe the following weekend (the one before Valentine's day), I can get it in there. If so ... I'll be ready for a track visit. You can check it out then if you wanna.

I'm sure that Hughes builds a good converter, but they don't build one made specially for a truck. There are differences in weights and usage between a 3600lb f-body and a 5000lb truck are pretty great.I would stick with the Yank.
