Default Y-Pipe Questions?

Will a stock SS 6.0 y-pipe fit on a 5.3? my brother may be getting some new headers for his ss and i'm looking to go back to 1 instead of duals on mine.

6.0's don't have a "Y" pipe. They have dual pipes that go into a single muffler.

I would go with true duals if you ask me. Don't get me wrong with a big single one but i prefer 2.
