Default Y-Pipe Help and Info

I need a stock Y-Pipe for some measurements. I was also wondering if there was a diagram of one with measurements as well. I need to know all the exact dimensions of one, the length, bends, flanges, etc. If anyone could sell me one and provide me with as much info as possbile please do. Thanks.

Sounds like you asking someone to provide you all the R&D for free ... not that it wont happen but ruler measurements and rough estamates on angles are not going to cut it.

I could send you a CAD ready IGES file of a scanned OE unit but unless your NC or CNC bending its not going to do you much good. Your better off with a bunch of U's and J's and fabbing on a truck. I spent some time in developing my new Y-pipe for my personal vehicle but its is no where near stock in orientation or bend profile.

If you could send me a CAD file of a scanned unit that would be GREAT! Without saying too much and getting my hopes up as well as everyone else, I have a friend in the stainless industry who has a mandrel bending machine (One that he said he uses with a CAD program to plug in dimensions then it uses those dimensions to bend the pipe without crimps, used to make products like grill guards and nerf bars)who works with 304 stainless, his company is well known and is trying new things with 3 inch 304 stainless pipe. I talked with him over the weekend and asked him during his spare time to fab me up a Y-Pipe. He said he would try as long as he had a good blueprint of the existing Y-Pipe to base his fabrication off of. I will see what happens, hopefully good things. Thanks.
