Default XR269HR Cam power levels

So I logged a run tonight and figured I'd share the results for people interested in picking the cam. This way you can see where it makes power.

This is a 5.3 with XR269HR, LS6 Valve Springs, LT's, 3" single exhaust through Dynomax Bullet (resonator) and Borla XR1 Oval, 4.30 gear, Circle D 2800-3200 converter, FLT4 trans, Cos3 tuned by myself and Dirt Track Racer 81, 295/45/20 Hankook ventus ST RH06

91 octane 100% unleaded, 31.5 degrees of peak timing at peak HP, Approximately 46 degrees out tonight, IAT 52degrees. Didn't have my wideband hooked up but i'm commanding 12.8afr and it should be pretty close to that.

At the Flywheel I logged 374ftlbs @ 4854rpm and 400 peak hp at 6251rpm. Take out 20% = 320rwhp 299rwftlbs so it's pretty accurate.

For an Idea of the power curve:
Ft Lbs HP
@ 1869 252 90
@ 2350 254 114
@ 2607 256 127
@ 3005 312 179
@ 3492 356 237
@ 3603 358 246
@ 3999 362 276
@ 4410 368 309
@ 4854 374 346
@ 5025 366 350
@ 5515 356 374
@ 6032 334 384
@ 6251 336 400
@ 6328 330 398

0-60 6.322
60-90 6.651
0-90 12.988

I Realize Logging with EFI Live is not 100% accurate but it does give an idea of what to expect. The Flywheel HP and TQ is Very Accurate when compared to all dyno runs i've seen with the same cam. Will try to go to the track tomorrow to get an actual 1/4 run.

EFIlive has told me I make over 4000 hp before lol. I wouldn't trust it at all as far as numbers are concerned, but it is pretty accurate as far as powerband shape.

Is that the low lift, or high lift version of the cam?
Thinking of going with that cam, as I dont have, and dont want to put a stall in the truck.

It's the 525/532 114lsa version.

Put it on the dyno in this thread : https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=471545

You probably didn't have your correct vehicle weight in the program, or you fueling was off.

I've seen 475 or 480 hp out of my 6.0 according to EFI, I bet it's pretty accurate.
