Default 5.3l chevy

hey guys,

first time posting on performancetrucks.net

So i got a 2001 5.3l automatic silverado, which is completely stock other than dual exhaust and flowmasters.

im trying to get it up to 350+ horsepower, preferably without tweaking the exhaust (My dad doesnt want me to change it, he installed it)

i was thinking intake, but im not sure which one.

I've always worked on my buddies 4cylinders (subaru's, audi's, etc), not too experienced with trucks yet..

any tips?

Thanks!

welcome to PT! i would start with a cold air intake and headers.. a custom tune.. but if u want to reach 350hp im assuming u mean flywheel.. i would install an intake alot of guys are using the TBSS intake on the truck you have, a cam and stall would definately bring u at 350+ maybe a TR220 and a 3000 stall from texas speed.
