Hi just wondering what the thoughts are out there as to what tuning program I should buy. I own a 2000 silverado with the 5.3. I Have the basic bolt-ons. K&N, throttle body spacer, jet chip, hypertech power programmer, flowmaster exhaust, and jet power servo. This spring I want to put in a LPE-GT2-3 cam and LS6 intake as well as put bigger injectors. Then a turbo later in the summer.

if you are going to get a turbo i would go with something you can tune yourself and not a pcmforless. pcmforless is a good tune but i am definately not sure i would want it on my truck if i had a turbo. i know allen from nelson performance knows how to tune one i know mti would know how to do it. but with a turbo the very best would be something you can tune yourself so you can up the boost and retune it anytime you want to and also play with it to tweek it out to its max potential

Yeah I was thinking along the lines of LS1 EDIT, HP TUNERS or F.A.S.T.

I think that a serious set up like your describing should be dyno tuned, not mail ordered. I would suggest looking into HP Tuners. I have EDIT and there's nothing wrong w/ it, but I hear that HPT is coming out w/ 3bar speed density tuning, which could really help in tuning a turbo setup.

After using HPtuners for a week and tuning mine and a buds truck, it's nice. It's got a lot of features that EDIT never even thought about! The best part is it comes with it's own scanning software.
If tuning it yourself isn't an option, then I would consider MTI or Texas Spped, they have some sick cars and tuning cars would be about the same as tuning trucks. Futral and Thunder also have some pretty wicke cars.
