was wondering since most people are asking for tune numbers for the predator if most people that have one are willing to share them with those of us that are getting one, have one,or are just trying to tweak there's.i think this would be a great thread if we all get together.mine is on its way. thanks.hope this is where this thread goes.

I kinda tried this before. I think more have to get the predator because most with highly modified trucks have ls1 edit.
I was really disappointed with mine at first and I needed custom tune. After a custom tune (in wich I don't know how Johan changed the timing/fuel tables) the truck needs a little tweaking.
Right now I pulled 5% timing and got rid of all my wot KR.
Weather or not it cost me HP is still to be discovered.
The track is not a good place for me to tune because it so crowded I only get a few runs in at a time.
I would like to get back on a dyno with a wideband and see if bumping up fuel helps?
I really don't think the predator is so sophisticated that playing with the fuel/timing is going to show big gains.
As far as shift points I think most agree 57-5900 on a stock cam mild bolt on truck.
I have a built tranny so playing with shift speed and firmness is not necassary. But some have on a stock tranny and seen better results.
I guess my point is our trucks respond differantly and need differant tunes, but differant ideas could help.

yay i am basically trying to get ideas where to start.and of course the more ideas you have the better your chances are of getting it right.the more numbers you have even though you dont have the same mods gives us more info of things each can try.especially when you can compare to others experiences.even though most have different mods i am still curious what there settings are.thanks

I definately like the firmness on the predator over the hypertech. When I used it. But with my billet servos and boost valves it shifted so hard I opted not to utilize the Predator option.
The Tow haul "performance mode" is a cool idea. You can set the frimness an shift points like you want it for street strip racing and only have it engaged when the tow haul button is engaged. Than drive around with it off and have it like stock again.
when you get it post some results of wot ltrims, ho2s mv, and kr(hopefulyy little to 0) and go from there.

1-2 Shift MPH 42
2-3 Shift MPH 80
3-4 Shift MPH Left Stock
1-2 Shift RPM 5850
2-3 Shift RPM 5850
3-4 Shift RPM Left Stock
Rev Limit is all Gears 5900
Transmission shift speed -25%
Transmission shift pressure +25%
Timing and fuel Left Stock
I had to adjust my tire size for my lift.
Beleive it or not. With theses settings I am scratching second gears with my 35's. But the engine is wound tight at the 1-2 shift. We'll see how long the 4L80E last like this.
I cant recall any other settings off the top of my head. If I missed some, post them and I will look at my settings.
