Would it be worth installing 6.0 injectors on a 5.3? Would it help me out when I get my heads done and possible nitrous set-up? Also, doesn't it make it easier on the ECM?

What do the stock 5.3 & 6.0 injectors flow?

Only if you are running lean due to lack of fuel injector. Your 99 is the only model with the smaller injector, all 00+ 4.8 and 5.3s have the same size injector as the 6 liter. You have a 21.x pounder while everyone else has 24.5 pound injectors. I made about 300 rwhp on my 99 and wasn't quite out of injector yet.

 

So when I do the heads and gain 15-25rwhp to put me in the 300+ rwhp range, would it be best just to replace the injectors with the newer ones to be safe?

I think the 5.3 and 6.0 injectors are the same....someone correct me if I am wrong.
