Would it be worth it?

Not worth it???
I bought a K&N filter for my '02 Yukon after the second oil change. The price of the paper filters aren't very expensive, but I didn't want to buy one at nearly every oil change. I drive 120 miles a day going to and coming home from work. Oil changes come much more often than the average Joe's 40 miles a day. I found it best for me to use the K&N due to lasting life. Have yet to notice any filtration issues with unwanted dust, dirt, or debris past the filter. The plus side is I'm getting 15.2 out of an EPA rated 16 MPG driving at an average speed of 78 - 80 mph. Before wasn't much less. If memory serves, I was getting about 14.9.
Decided to buy one today for my '02 Accord. As for performance, for me, there seems to be very little. Noise increase is noticeable. Yes, there's more airflow with K&N, but no filtration issues. Plus I'm not buying $10+ filters from a parts shop, lube shop, or dealer. IMHO, that's worth it!
But... the decision is yours. Only you can decide what's best for you.

I had a K&N filter on my camaro after i got my lid, actually because the paper filter wouldn't fit anymore. Nothing wrong with it really, but as far as buying one solely for performance reasons, it's meaningless.
It's something i've seen so much in the engines forum on ls1tech that it isn't even funny. In the end though, it was pretty obvious that K&N filters added anywhere from -3 to +3 hp, so it's just a filter, nothing more.
