Default Will this shift kit work on my truck

My brother has a shift kit for his 96 GMC Sierra 350ci. laying here in the house and he has told me that he's not going to put it in. Would that shift kit work in my truck or are the tranny's different? The shift kit is a B&M Shift Improver, that's what it says on the box.

If it's for a 4l60e, then it should work. There was a tranny change sometime around then from a 700r4 to a 4l60e.

If you plan on strapping a blower to it though, I'd go for the Transgo performance kit. It does a lot more than just a shift kit.

Thanks Flyer, I'll get the Transgo after I get the blower.
BTW do you have any vids of your blower in action I'm dying to hear what it sounds like.
Thanks
