Does anyone know if the engine mounts for the 4.3 and all the LS1's are the same? THanks, Michael.

no, they are different you need to get the mounts for a v8 truck in order to get it to fit. the 4.3 uses the old style small block chevy mounts

can I ask you, how hard would this be to do? Are the mounts things that attach on to the motor? if so, how much are they? Or do these need to be welded onto the engine bay.

Sorry for my lack of car knowledge, im new to this and trying to learn.

oh that's good to know then, so it's really nothing major. So the 6.0 should still drop in pretty easily. I have also read that the PCM on the newer trucks (2002+) is the same as the LS1's. I guess wiring harness would be only thing different.
