224/228 .581/.588 114 LSA I'm looking in to buying this cam will I have any valve clearance problems on stock heads 5.3 04?

Damn that's a big cam for the 5.3l, what converter stall speed? No clearance problem afaik but you'll need springs/rods, right?

That cam is fine but you will need a 3600 stall to compliment that cam.

according to his sig he has a procharger, so wouldnt that make things different since he's boosted?

that will change things considerably... I'd go with a custom grind in a f/i motor for sure.

He will lose even more power down low since a procharger p1sc on a 5.3 wont come on hard till about 3K.

I've got pi 3000 will that be to much of a cam if so what would you guys recommend don't really want to spin it more than say 6200 or 6300

That cam is a decent choice for a procharger. I would still go with a custom grind in the low 220s for the intake duration.

well yeah it would work just fine, maybe I shouldn't have said no good but I think he could benefit more from something a LITTLE more suited. Like anything, yes that cam will make power but there are always others that fit each application best. But thats simply IMO
