yes it will be louder. The 70 series is like a 3 chamber and is just a little over stock sound. How loud do you want it. I like mine because around town you can hear it raor but on the highway it is almost unnoticable unless you get on it.

Thanks!

I am not real sure on how loud I actually want my truck to be. I am more concirned on it sounding "different" than all of the trucks like mine around my town with 40 series flowmasters welded on em'. thats the reason I got my 70 to begin with. However thats too quite for me now.

Thanks for your help.

I just want it to sound different than all of the other trucks like mine around here. Almost all of which have a 40 series flow welded on em. Getting on my nerves. I guess its up to me now to show em' the 40 series isnt the only exhaust you can put on a truck.

Yes it will be louder, that Flow ya got now is big. The Magnaflow of that size will be quieter than a 40 series Flow but not by a ton, yet the resonation is going to be far less with the Magnaflow too...

I also wanted to be different and I wanted something louder then a 2 chamber and also didn't want to spend the money on magnaflow. that's why a 1 chamber works for me.
