Default will '00 silv. headers exhaust fit '08 silv

trying to find out if '00 silv. short bed single cab with v8 should fit '08 silv. short bed single cab v8. from the headers all the way back. duall exhaust. didnt know where to find out this info. from.

both 2wd? The header's should work but the rest of the exhaust I dont know about

That's what I remember reading...the headers will work but the y pipe is different

Headers will bolt right up..y-pipe may need some massaging...as far as the rest of the exhaust..may have to cut off and reweld the hangers back on in different locations.

cool, what are the gains from going from shorty headers, single exhaust to lt's,y pipe dual exhaust?

Shorties are basically manifolds

When I went from the stock manifolds to shorties I didn't feel diddly in my butt-o-meter, but when I went from shorties to StainlessWorks LT's and catted y-pipe there was a definite improvement. But if you're hell-bent on shorties, my old Gibson stainless shorties are for sale...
