Default Dynojet wideband installation...

It showed up too late to get the bung installed but I might get it done tomorrow. If so I should be able to log some runs sunday and then decide whether or not I need to step up to a larger injector. I think I know the answer already as I'm seeing 450 grams per second with the 3.0 pulley and the 2.9 will be here soon.

Ok..I'll bite......

I keep hearing there's a pretty close correlation between "Grams Per Second" on a boosted engine and rear wheel horse power....If this is true...At what AWHP should the injectors start getting close (42LB).....? I'm thinking 470-480ish AWHP...Maybe 500-550 RWHP..? Any ideas will help big time....

There you go with that "we" crap again! With the intercooler and the meth and some boost, your truck is going to be STRONG dave......you'll think back to your non intercooled 5 psi days as playschool years.

Your right Jerry. I'm just glad I get to go through all the grades. It gives me a chance to get use to the power a little at a time. I think its much more enjoyable this way.

No dice on the muffler shop bung install. They won't deal with the stainless tubing that I have stock.

So.... I'm going to disable the rear O2 sensors in the programming and either swap a front O2 sensor to a rear O2 hole and make this work or simply install the wideband in a rear O2 sensor hole. I only need it for the PE tuning and only as a temp install. Once we get it all set up and tuned I'll be taking the wide band back off.

Leave the front O2 sensor in the front hole. It may cause problems moving it to the back while you tune and then putting it back after you're done. If anything put the wideband sensor in a rear hole. I have done that and it seems to work fine even with cats. Some people will tell you that you can't run the sensor back there with cats but, I've heard from enough people that I trust results aren't different at all from front to back or even back at the tailpipe with a sniffer probe installed(like on a dyno). I have run a wideband in the rear O2 and not had problems.

Which wideband setup did you get?
