Default whoa! new gtech

have to wait on the dyno and i should wait on gteching till i have tires but i had to go make a run.

first thing, i have a couple of things going on. boost controler isn't working at all, i think my lines are too small and too many t's feeding diferent stuff, i need to redo it all. next is it is real laggy, much more so than i would have expected. we played with the fueling and timing for a couple of hours and it didn't change the lag at all. i can get brake boost but it takes some time. i think for street racing i will need a small shot to get it spooled. at the track if i dont care about reaction time i wont need any nitrous.

last thing is my valve train is on the loud side, i pulled off the valve covers to take a look but it all looks good. it has always been loud but now it seem just a little louder. not sure what is going on there but when i get heads i will be changing all of it out from the lifters up.

now for the good stuff.

pump gas, lot of meth, no nitrous, 93+deg outside, heat soaked motor with coolant at about 200deg, stock tires, full weight, windows open, cut out open, let off eairly and last but not least, 21psi

woohoo, thats not too shabby, i think if i had stayed in it i would have seen a 10.2x(10.55 actual) and a real mph faster than the 132 i got at the track.

boost is the coolest **** ever and meth is prety cool too. i didn't see any knock or hear any knock. talked to my roll bar guy, he is hoping to get me in there at the end of the week.

it is a sleeper today, it wont be in a week. rims, tires and roll bar will kill that. nothing i can do unless i want to just run it on the street and not be real safe.
