Man, I thought the new Silverado was kinda ugly, but the GMC looks just as bad IMO. I'm not sure I like this "Boxy hard angled" look that GM is doing. I agree a little change isfine, but this is a little radical IMO.

I saw those pictures a while back and the first thing on my mind was "holy ****, I need to buy a 2002 before they run out of them!"
The new Silverado is BUTT ugly. They shouldn't have put the Avalanche-looking front on it, why merge the personalities together? Let the Avalanche be its own truck, and the Silverado its own. I'd rather have seen the HD front appear on all the Silverados instead. The GMC is still the better looking of the two in my opinion, but damn that bumper is HUGE!
Someone is gonna make a killing on smooth painted bumper covers haha.

I tried to convince my dad to trade his '98 ext. cab in now for an '02 so that he could get a NICE-LOOKING truck, as well as the $2002 rebate. Being the cheap guy and one to not give a crap about the changing body style, he said no. His last truck had 121,000 miles on it when traded in, and this one will have no less than 100k he said. With 62,000 miles on the clock, it drives like it has 200k on it. The difference between the new and old stuff is huge!

Well, at least it will still look good from a (new) ford truck's view <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
